Dr Ashis Dey

Ashis brings over 30 years of water, hydrology and software experience to Watercom. He has worked in technical, commercial and leadership roles within the public and private sectors, including universities, consultants and government-owned organisations.
Most recently and before joining Watercom, Ashis was Executive Manager of Software Products at eWater, where he was responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of MUSIC software.
His experience covers urban water management, stormwater and flood modelling, catchment and land-use management, water quality, water sensitive urban design, integrated water cycle management and modelling.
Across his career, Ashis has successfully delivered 100+ challenging projects in water management and modelling. He has also run 300+ training workshops for water modelling software, including XP-SWMM, XP-STORM XP-2D, XP-RAFTS, MUSIC and SOURCE.
First graduating with a Bachelor (Hons) in Civil Engineering, Ashis has since completed both a Masters and PhD in Water Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia.

Hossein Ansari
Technical Manager & Principal Engineer B.E. Civil, Dip. Eng., MIEAust
Hossein is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, previously working as a Senior Design Engineer at Sutherland Shire Council and as a Drainage Investigation Engineer at City of Botany Bay Council.
