Our Mission

To reimagine water modelling from the ground up by creating a more adaptable and future-proof platform, backed by the deep knowledge of our specialist team and leveraging the strengths of past successful products.

Building the Foundations

In the last two years, Watercom has strategically built a team of leading industry experts who bring together decades of experience in the development, delivery and support of other well-known water modelling products including XPRAFTS, XPSTORM, XP2D, XPSWMM, and eWater MUSIC.

We have also been actively collaborating with leading software vendors to ensure seamless model interoperability across the industry’s diverse products and services.

Today, we're excited to share a preview of this mission taking shape: our next-generation water modelling platform, currently in development.

DRAINS

The Complete Water Modelling Solution

Model Faster Than Ever

Whether you’re modelling stormwater, WSUD or catchments, DRAINS handles it all. No need to switch between apps or struggle with clunky data exchange. DRAINS brings everything together in one unified solution that’s powerful, streamlined, and smart.

Streamline Your Workflow

DRAINS makes complex modelling simple. With guided workflows and intelligent automation, even advanced tasks become easier to manage. Focus on what matters with customisable workspaces and built-in parameterisation based on regulatory guidelines.

Model With Confidence

Get the clarity you need for informed decisions. Leverage powerful reporting and analytics via tables, charts and statistics to validate designs for compliance. Communicate results with confidence using graphical encoding and dynamic animations.

Backed by decades of engineering expertise.

Developed by the experts behind long-standing industry software, DRAINS encapsulates over ten decades of knowledge from government, consulting, academia and software development.
