What is the DRAINS Maintenance Program?

We’re committed to helping engineers design and analyse stormwater drainage systems in the most accurate and reliable way possible using DRAINS.

That’s why we offer our annual DRAINS Maintenance Program. With active Maintenance, customers receive regular software updates, new features and fixes, expert technical software support and access to extra features and options in DRAINS.

We endeavour to keep all DRAINS users up to date and compliant with the latest data, rules and regulations.

My Maintenance program has expired. What do I need to do?

To continue receiving DRAINS updates and support, select from options 1 or 2:

Option 1: Renew Now

Renew your Maintenance program for your existing DRAINS USB Licence(s).

An active Maintenance program entitles you to receive free, regular software updates, new features and fixes, plus full, personalised software support for your DRAINS licences.

Option 2: Trade-in USB for a New Subscription or Licence

For a limited time, trade-in your DRAINS USB Licence and receive credit towards an annual subscription to DRAINS or a new Perpetual Licence, plus an exclusive discounted price. Explore all Licensing options here.

All new DRAINS Subscriptions and Licences includes all currently available features and modules, as well as software updates and software support.

Trade-In USB for new Subscription or Licence

The DRAINS Maintenance Program’s Terms of Use have been recently updated. The updates apply to any DRAINS USB Licence with an expired Maintenance program.

From 30 June 2023 onwards, our DRAINS Maintenance policy is as follows:

  • DRAINS USB licences with an expired Maintenance program for two or more years will no longer be eligible for renewal.
  • Instead, users will be able to trade in their USB Licence for credit towards a new DRAINS Subscription or Perpetual Licence. New DRAINS licences include all current available DRAINS features and modules, as well as software updates and software support for the duration of the subscription or active Maintenance program.

Your continued use of DRAINS software after 30 June 2023 is your agreement to these updated terms and policies, contained within the DRAINS End-User Licence Agreement (EULA). If you have any questions, please contact us.

  • DRAINS USB licences with an expired Maintenance program for one or more years will no longer be eligible for renewal.
  • Instead, users will be able to trade in their USB Licence for credit towards a new DRAINS Subscription or Perpetual Licence. New DRAINS licences include all current available DRAINS features and modules, as well as software updates and software support for the duration of the subscription or active Maintenance program.
