I am incredibly proud and humbled to be taking over as Director of Watercom from today, as part of Watercom’s transfer of ownership to Kustom Engineering Pty Ltd.
In my role as Watercom’s manager over the last three years, I have seen this company thrive and grow, and rise to meet all challenges. Our tools are now used by over 1200 organisations around the world, and we have firmly cemented Watercom’s position as Australia’s leading modelling and analysis software for stormwater and drainage systems.
And the best is yet to come.
For almost 20 years, I have lived and breathed civil engineering – I am passionate about this industry. As a civil engineer myself, I have seen first-hand the needs and opportunities in our field, and as an academic and educator, I have had the privilege of helping shepherd the next generation of engineers into their careers, and to contribute to guiding our profession into the future.
And now, I couldn’t be more excited for the future of Watercom.
Watercom and Kustom Engineering have already shared a close and successful relationship for years, and I’m eager to show you what will come from the joining of these two industry leaders. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, with more announcements to be made in the coming months about new features and technologies, new partnerships and collaborations, and new ways to use and access your Watercom software.
