We’re looking for an experienced and skilled civil engineer to join Watercom’s Technical Support Team.

Position Details

  • Permanent full-time position
  • 38 hours per week

Role & Responsibilities

This technical support role will cover a range of responsibilities across the business.

  • Provide Level 2 technical support to our extensive customer base of councils and consultants
  • Perform online & face-to-face DRAINS training, both locally and nationally
  • Liaise with the Watercom development team for troubleshooting
  • Provide feedback and input to expand the capabilities of Watercom’s DRAINS software
  • Develop and prepare training materials and webinars
  • Assist with software sales and customer relations
  • Attend industry conferences and events

 

You

Successful applicants must have:

  • At least 3 years experience in civil engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with DRAINS software
  • Advanced technical knowledge and skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • An ability to work independently and manage your own time and deliverables
  • Familiarity with TUFLOW and 12d Model software is desirable
